Patti Boyle  Newnique Redesign Owner

My previous professional life concentrated on business and data management.  The question is often asked – how did you get from data management to decorating?  To some it seems strange yet to me it seems natural.  For me, both are very creative endeavors and both frequently require problem solving skills.

My decorating obsession started with an orange shag rug and bold orange and yellow curtains in my teenage bedroom.  I thought it was cool and wonderful, my parents (and roommate sister) tolerated it.

Since then I have owned several homes and although many of my belongings have made the moves with me, each home has dictated a new look.  Decorating my new homes made the moves less stressful.

I have always been a fan of shopping for unique items in affordable, design oriented retail stores and consignment/thrift shops.  I frequently alter my “finds” to make them more uniquely mine.  The result is furniture, accessories and a home that looks much more expensive than it is.

As is the case with many in the redesign industry, friends encouraged me to start a business and use my creativity and problem solving skills to design unique spaces for others.  So, when my corporate career ended I decided to do just that and opened Newnique Redesign to help clients create homes they love.

My vision is to create an affordable, comfortable and unique home with each of my clients – a home that reflects and supports the lives of the people who live there.  I want everyone to love their home as much as I love mine.
